There should be almost two threads around random health & exercise thoughts. The under 27 thread, where everyone's trying to bulk up and the over 27 when everyone's trying to lose or prevent the dreaded gut.

On the topic of bulking, have had to resort to frozen Meat Lover's pizza to get enough cals to continue gaining weight. Eating one of these a day now and steadily continuing weight gain(205 now).

speaking of, i could use your guys' opinion or something.

I'm approaching 6 weeks of my cut. Should I continue to cut for another 2-4 weeks or recomp?

My issue is i don't know whether i'll regain the water weight, and where that water weight will go. I'm not responding to creatine like i normally do and I figure that's because of the cut, but i'm not sure if i transition from cut to recomp i will gain that water weight back (and if so, whether it will be intra-muscularly, as it is when i'm on the 'tine, or subdermally).

Regardless, I'm very happy with my current size in a general sense, as all of my clothes fit the way they should (i bought most of them about a year ago, when i was this size (though with less lbm/more bf)

Also, could i perhaps get a bf% estimation?

rough guess but you have no fat on your lower abdominals where as my lower abdominals are covered so I'm guessing you're a couple under me, anywhere between 10-12%

Helps having a having a gf who's an iphy grad student every once in a while I can get free hydrostatic testing

How much longer were you thinking of cutting? Do you have a goal weight?

Smolov is easier then i remember, I think I used too low a max. Im only on the first week though, 2nd is when it gets hard.

Squatting without a mirror feels so much better. No preempting the box or loosing upper back tightness because I'm looking at myself instead of tucking my neck into the bar.

Not sure. Maybe another 3-4 weeks. My original goal was to get to 10% from 14-15 but in 6 weeks that might have been a bit ambitious.

Right now my clothes fit exactly the way I'd like though.

Maybe ill slow down the cut with a -20/+10? It'll help me transition to getting enough calories on my workout days (which is already somewhat of a challenge)

I'm back on the wagon. Can't wait to hit the gym tonight; two weeks off is way too long.

GN where do you live? It's getting cold by me here so I'm planning on bulking until the end of the year and then cutting for spring.

I'd judge it based on strength. 8-10 weeks seems like a good period, woudn't go any more.

    i know dat feel

3 weeks off and counting, dont get an ultrasound for another 2 weeks and physio coverage doesn't kick in until december. tried lifting today, shoulder rom now restricted and weird tingly pains going on.

also, tried running today. i have a 5k cancer run thingy coming up at the end of the month, so i figured i should at least run a bit beforehand. i forgot how much cardio sucks, though i may be limited to that unless my shoulder unfucks itself in the next, uh, 3 fucking months or so.
