FINALLY pulled 455 today(no belt, just chalk). Took two tries but I got it on the second. Ahhhh that felt good. I'm on my way to a 5 plate deadlift!
Holy shit that is expensive, I'm part of a program called phoenix multisport, and I get access to yoga, climbing gyms, jiu jitsu classes and a ton of other shit 100% free, just because I'm sober.
squatted 235 for a shit triple. I realise that my flexibility makes squats a bit pointless right now. I was watching some other guys, no noticeable leg muscle, squatting 180 ATG with ease, dropping right down and bouncing out with no lower back rounding or knees coming in etc. They made it look effortless, but im fighting against my body all the way down and up, back rounds at the bottom, fall foward, knees try to come in on the way up etc. Im doing RDL twice a week and feeling a huge stretch and DOMS in my hamstrings, but im guessing its them causing lower back to round in the squat. Might stop the squats and do deadlifts as my power exercise for a month or so then go back and see if my squat has improved.
nah doctor said its what caused his kidney stones last year.
Drop the weight to something you can do with good form.
DB floor pressed 80lb dumbbells for a set of 5, felt pretty easy. American military base gym is alpha, has iron plates and a glute ham raise. Weird everyone is weak as fuck. Also realised how dumb it was of me to do any squat accessory work during smolov. Hamstrings were burning even before i started lifted.
225 x 8 today on bench, felt good. I want to get to 10.
Nice! That's pretty much exactly where I am and I have the same goal.
2 plate bench........soon.
Powerlifting form put me back quite a bit of weight, but it feels better now 2 plate by the end of the year should be an easy goal.

Weight is stalling at 192lb and 3900 calories, time to step up to 4200. My lifts stall so fast unless im gaining weight quickly, possibly added 5lb to my bench 3RM today but i suspect the spotter was helping even on those first 3 reps, why you touch the bar unless im gonna fail? Saw a massive black guy squatting 140kg, he struggled out 4 reps above parallel, which made me feel not so bad about being able to hit 100kg for 3 x 5 or so.
So pissed off with myprotein.com, ordered £150 of stuff on wednesday for next day delivery, wasnt even dispatched by friday, am going away all week so wont have proteins and will have to buy more shitty expensive "maximilk" shakes. Complaint email sent, hoping for a large discount as this has happened before. Has to be false advertising or something.
