Don't some people take this shit every day for the wrest of their lives? For arthritis and shit?

For some reason I was expecting you to clean that. Also big props on working out in a singlet, I wear mine to the gym every day, no care.

Eason I'm where you're at, been cutting for a couple weeks. I'm 6'1 186lbs and eating 2,000 cals per day, taking jet fuel and I'm just not losing anymore. Interval training 7 days a week 20 minutes, dog park almost everyday running around throwing the ball, lifting 5 days a week 3 different routines, yoga, climbing. I've never been able to drop below 13% bf. Really don't know what else to to do, def going to try IF might be an extra push.

Would refeeds be a good way to jump start a crashed metabolism?

Not losing doesn't necessarily mean you've crashed. If you're tired all the time, super lazy/lethargic, unmotivated, etc. then you would want to think about a refeed.

Why don't you just cut your calories by 200-300 and run it for a few weeks to see how it goes? If you're having trouble with hunger at 1700-1800 then switch to IF (though IF is just good generally).

My old university made major renovations to the fitness facilities last summer, which was both good and bad. Lots of new equipment and amenities, but the old weight room became the school athlete-only weight room, relegating us plebs to the considerably smaller former cardio room. That dropped us from five or six squat racks and eight platforms to three squat racks/platforms. As you'd imagine, this creates a backlog at peak hours/times. It's never really been an issue for me until today.

I kind of loitered around the area doing some warmups since all three racks were occupied. After this dude finished up one of the lousiest looking sets of deadlifts I've ever seen and started removing plates, I went up and asked if he was done. "Nah, I got about 15 more minutes." Ugh. Fine. Next to him was a dude also deadlifting. He was lifting heavy, so his rest periods were crazy long. When it looked like he was done, I went up and asked if he was. "Nah, I got five sets of front squats to do." Shit. I didn't even bother with the remaining rack, since it was this couple lifting together and it didn't seem like they were close to being finished.

I went upstairs to doing some weighted carries around the track just to kill some time. I went back downstairs maybe 15 minutes later. Front squat guy and 15 minutes guy are both still at it. The couple is now gone, but they've been replaced by another couple. The 15 minutes guy looks like he's finally done, but apparently he had promised the spot to another couple of dudes while I was gone, because he leaves a barbell full of weights (implying he's coming back) and goes up to a couple of guys to indicate he's done. SHIT.

So now I'm watching front squat guy, assuming he's gotta be done soon. No. He moves on to heavy regular barbell squats with barely any break in his knees. Good god. At this point, I notice that the couple next to him has loaded up the barbell with a lot of bumper plates, but the guy is gone and the girl (who looks like the only thing she lifts are pot pies) is just sitting on a bench in front of the platform texting. I see a guy go up to her and ask if someone's using the unoccupied barbell. She nods yes without even looking up from her phone. Her boyfriend reappears maybe 10 minutes after this and I recognize him, because he fucking works there, which suggests he should probably have more sense than to tie up one of the few squat racks during peak hours if he's just going to go jerk off or whatever he was doing.

I finally left since I had some other things that I needed to do, but all told, I was in there for almost an hour and got nothing done. Next time I'll just insist they let me work in.

Oh, and I almost got the side of my car smashed in near campus because some dipshit turned right on red as I was legally passing through the intersection and instead of coming to a complete stop, he just sort of kept going as though I was going to just stop and let him through.

    Phew.

Some do, yup...but they also get prophylactic medicine to prevent ulcers. Most people on long-term NSAIDs will develop ulcers to some degree...though most remain asymptomatic. You're a young dude so the chances of you getting a perforated bowel or major bleeding is pretty slim(assuming you don't get heartburn).

Pretty much this. I don't think I've ever asked to work in and NOT had the guy give me a look like I just asked him to let me work in my dick into his ass. I generally don't mind waiting a bit, since people seem to move along within a reasonable amount of time. But for whatever reasons, everyone today was dragging their feet as though they had found a great parking spot and weren't going to relinquish it until they absolutely had to.

Never usually a problem for me. I hate when dudes ask to work in when I'm doing rest paused because I don't want to tell them I can't because I need short rests. I usually just let em work in anyways.

lol NEVER have issues asking people to work in. Just mean mug them and talk like a complete douche and most the skinny guys will either let you work in or just go do something else.

One of the joys of lifting heavy is that no one really bothers you, at least in my experience.
