Have you seen a chiropractor yet? You might just need lifts in your shoes. Some of us are just born a little "off".

Bro-tip for yoga: Find a class taught by a dude or an older chick. Yoga classes are much more enjoyable when you're not consumed with the thought of how much you want to bang the shit out of your instructor.

I'm no oly master, but your glutes appear super weak. Knee caving in on every attempt, that's probably not good.

What's your best back and front squat?

    Well then reverse the genders.

Or, if he's into both, then either find old instructors and/or learn to deal with yoga-boners.

I thought that was the point of going to yoga.

Nah, you bang the chicks in your class. Instructors might have ethical compunctions against it.

Oneof my females friends who has been askingme for fitness advice joined a crossfit gym two weeks ago. Dropped 55lbs from a barbell on her ankle doing "olympic lifts" (she doesn't know which one). Sounds like they're doing a great job with teaching them how to lift properly.

And I've decided I'm gonna go all fitness-y fag and start running along with my weightlifting... Did 1.5 miles in 14 minutes this morning haha. First time I've run in probably over a year.

Yea, I think I accelerate more in the 1st pull than most people do and I need to pop harder on the 2nd pull. I also noticed that I'm getting on my toes a tad early. I know my bar path is VERY straight, as opposed to the S-shape that seems to be the norm for the top lifters.

Thanks. Definitely much to work on. Goal is to open at the next meet with my missed lifts (106,135).

It's usually not as bad as in the video, but something I need to work on nonetheless. In training, I use a mental cue to drive my feet into the ground (which helps to engage my core, hips, and glutes) instead of just standing up with the weight, but that all went out the window when I was on the competition platform :embar: FS 1RM is about 145kg, BS 1RM is about 180kg.... not very impressive numbers. Gonna emphasize squatting on this next cycle.

dont fret about this, once your scoop gets better, you'll be able to dig those knees in way harder and extend with more force - as a side bonus you'll get a nice double knee bend as american coaches like to call it. and then you'll have the coveted s pull

Really loving this Herman miller Aeron. My left hip use to get so tight at work and would get pins and needles, one day in this chair and it's completely gone. Shoulder doesn't feel any better but with this trackball I've been using my left hand for 70% of the stuff I do.

Think I'm gonna buy a second one for my house this weekend. I play computer games for like 3 hours every night on this shitty target chair

Thanks for the input. Def going to see a specialist for my hip.

What about leaning to far forward when going heavy on squats? Surely this is a common problem for people with bad form?
Should I focus on getting a stronger core or just deload and slowly adding weight again (my form is better if I drop 10 lbs off)?
