Just guestimates/eyeballing using the livestrong database on MyPlate (which sucks but i'm too lazy to switch to myfitnesspal).

It's probably an overestimation, frankly, but since I'm on a cut, i'd rather overestimate and go faster than underestimate and go slower.

Also, I didn't have my bcaa's and trained fasted. I am absurdly sore.

If you have a problem with it, then drop the weight down and work your way back up slowly.

I, like most people, had to do the same when switching to a powerlifting style bench.

I hate benching like a powerlifter because so many people in the gym have comments about how I'm going to hurt my back like that or I'm not getting any chest pump from having tucked in elbows.

Is it just my gym or is every commercial gym filled with gym bro white knights? If I'm ever struggling with my last rep of ANYTHING (all movements that can be failed safely), a wild gym bro appears and active spots. I can't push and tell em to fuck off at the same time.

I have an overt amount of gym bro info dispensers. I wasn't asking you about my DL form, so don't speak to me. When you lift more than me, then we can talk.

Should fit someone around 6-6'2" and 190-210.

Or if you're someone with a crazy long torso, 5'11" and 195ish.

    Fuck what they think.

Hmm but powerlifting style means something like this:

Basically I'm benching for sports carryover (track, basketball)

I asked someone to spot me on bench press once. When I set up I grab the bar and use it to help me arch my back. I think dave tate does the same thing, just gives you something to hold onto as you pull your feet under and arch your back. As I grabbed the bar to to set up the guy lifted it off and I immediately dropped it on my chest. Proceeded to tell me if the weights too much don't lift it......

Guy in the video has a huge arch. Mines nowhere as big as that, it's probably not that noticeable looking from the side.

Edit: Just realised if you replace arch with cock in that sentence it makes it funnier.

    Thanks Fuji.

Powerlifting style rules. Whole body feels way more utilized as opposed to t-elbow style.

Probably looks like he's been lifting for a long time, hence the flexibility.

if you need a spotter for your lifts you are either an amazing specimen of the master race or a weak pussy.
