Put up a DL 3RM today of 265lbs. Doesnt feel like I can go much more than that, lots of shaking. DL significantly trails my upper body strength. I suspect form is holding me back. Is Robertson's the best guide on how to DL? Will also try and find a way to take a video.....
First part was pretty good and i thought it would be the best documetary i've seen about the sport. Parts 2 and 3 were shit. inb4 grapefruit.
All of that is just an advertisement for supplements. Didn't even watch.

I think the only time kai mentioned supplements was to basically say they dont make a difference, and are worthless without dedicated training/nutrition.
Let me ask you: What did you gain by watching this? Serious question, not trolling.
And my supplement comment was based off 1. FLEX branded film - the magazine is chock full of terrible training for the average person and ads ads ads to get you JACKED AS FUCK BRO and 2. The very last bit showing some supplements. I clicked through it.
I just enjoy watching things with bodybuilders doing cooking, talking about their routine etc. Didn't learn anything or expect to.
My new PR on the bench has come at the cost of serious shoulder pain all day. Warmed up rotator cuffs properly as always and never normally get problems. I did read that you shouldnt train bench in the real low rep ranges due to shoulder issues, but didnt think much of it.
Ried high rep kb swings to see if my abs could handle them.
Today I threw on makeshift Fat-Grips for some reverse curls...don't think I've ever worked my forearms so hard. I'm gonna look like Popeye in a month if I keep this up.
Also, saw a flier in my gym today with the heading "New Equipment October 2012!" Got super excited...was hoping for a full power rack and maybe even a platform. What do I find instead? Kettlebells, prowlers, bands, medicine balls, a bunch of pullup bars, and a heavy bag. Looks like my gym is going Crossfit-retard mode.
I would enjoy almost everything that's on that list, what's wrong with you son?
