1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

So weak.... between wrist sprain and too much work preventing frequent gym time the past two months, 70% lifts never felt more difficult.

fuji did the hypertrophy work on legs help with your definition? I have some aesthetics (obvious sweep of outer quad and teardrop can be seen) but nowhere near as ripped as you.

Form check. Could have driven elbows down more/ went a little lower.

Edit: did this after an hour of plyo work (jump squats, depth jumps, sled sprints etc)

I'm not sure, I think I just don't store much fat in my legs. If your sub 10% bf your way more lean then me, i'm probably like 13ish percent, don't have proper abs. I'd say hypertrophy work did make them a bit bigger, but I don't think i'm much more lean, i've noticed specifically the tear drop has gotten bigger.

I have been really getting into stats recently instead of economics so my real life trolling has changed too, i just find macro econ really boring and my degree is in stats so I do kind of need to understand it. Just did some sickening trolling on the fat jewish kid i lift with occasionally. This is from fb chat. He wanted to train and 2 and I was feeling 3.

    me:just wait till 3 man

    fat jewish brah:why

me: so we can train together <3

fat jewish brah: its gonna get crowded then

me: we need to hypthosis test that
does the number of people follow a normal distribution?
    do we know the variance
    (obviously not)

fat jewish brah: im not doing this now

me: if it doesn't follow a normal distribution should we do a wilconcox test or a sign test?

fat jewish brah: just go eat and we will go

    Me: is the data pairwise?
if not should we assume the sample error is an accurate representation of the variance
shall we assume the variance of both times is the same?
H0: the mean of both times is the same
    BUT
is this a 1 tailed test or a 2 tailed test
are we test is the mean at 3 > then the mean at 2 or just different

    fat jewish brah: stop

    me: H1: u3>u2
u is obv mew, but i dont have a latin keyboard

fat jewish brah: im gonna go at like 2:30 and do a bit of cardio beforehand

me: what significance level are we testing this hypothesis at by the way?

fat jewish brah: i told u im not doing this

me: im going to assume the date is pairwise so we'll just use Uz and Sz because its the most apprpriate

fat jewish brah: im headed to the gym now, bored
    cya later

    me: xox

I reckon i'd use the wilconcox or whatever its called method because I wouldn't want to assume the data was normally distributed. Assuming it was normally distributed i'd make the assumption the data was pairwise because i'd measure the mean number of people at the gym at 2 and 3 on the same day.

so i showed this chick the other half of stripped 5x5. From what I can tell her form on the squat/deadlift/bench are all good (she's doing DB rows/shoulder presses) but she's not 100% sure with the movements. Does anyone have any good resources for helping her make sure she's cuing up/doing the motion right? Like, T-Nipple articles or rippetoe videos or something? I just want her to be able to do the workouts without me hand-holding her through it.

Loving the cutting diet, i'd actually rather not eat much carbs if i didnt have to. My dinner was just 5 eggs some beef sausages and baked beans. Would love to be able to eat like this all the time and make gains. Also eating everything between 12-8pm, haven't read much about IF apart from what i've picked up from this thread but i think thats the general principle.
