Probably split squats and other unilateral work..
haha Im sure you meant poser. I find early Burzum and later Darkthrone are both good for lifting. AS far as old school black metal goes I like Gorgoroth for workouts too.
Today for my workout I was blasting Shrinebuilder and Candlemass actually. \m/
I love Tyr, especially their Danish songs. Ensiferum is pretty ace too. Nothing makes lifting heavy weights easier than feeling like a viking.
If you want a folk/viking aesthetic but dont want it so over-the-top I recommend:
I love Agalloch who can skew a little folk/viking at time ( and the singer was wearing a hawkwind tee when i saw em live)
I think Urfaust does a tribal/chanting thing really well
And Ulver's melodic stuff for when I really want a medieval vibe.
The one thing I really liked about Zyzz was that he was open about his steroid use.
Unlike his jackass brother.
these sprinters are jacked.. almost as big as olympic lifters
I wanted Yohan to win because he's a manlet and manlets should be happy too.
I was in the crowd for this one - about ten rows back - and it looked insanely easy for him. The way he just walked up to the bar and cleaned it without taking any time to set himself was pretty awe-inspiring. The Kazakhs in the crowd went absolutely mental
I am thrilled with my bench press progress. I was on the verge of giving up 2 months ago and sticking with where I was.
Has anybody invcorporated jumping and springing in their weight lifting? I was reading something interesting and I might start doing a couple of jumping, leaping and medicine ball throwing exercises in my lifting day, there seems to be some research that indicates that it can be helpful to mix them
Been stuck at a 415 pull now for 3 months despite gaining a shitload of weight. I've come to the conclusion that I'm grip limited.
I think it's time to finally just get over my convictions and buy some chalk/straps and a belt.
If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it.
I want my 16.5" calves to be solid muscle, but I do not want a dramatic increase in size (no more than 1") what should I do?
I have started running again and I am easing my way back to the gym.
my wishlist from ironwoody is going to cost 300bux.
plate pinches and static holds are great, try 2x30sec for each. also, pulling with straps after having grip issues is like heaven.
i want p90x yoga because i've heard good things.
The DVD is $50 on ebay though. And demonoid is down
Angerfist is the closest thing to metal I will listen to. RAISE YOUR FIST!
