Oh, I have no problem with people using a rack for a long period of time, assuming there's more than one and they're not wasting everybodys time by doing useless BS. If they're doing shrugs in the rack, they deserve a slap (same for curls).

The gym here just has one incline rack so when people hold it up for an hour, it's pretty obnoxious, especially when they're doing over 10 work sets (came in the middle, so excludes warm up sets) of high reps with shit form. But when people do real squats for high volume, I have total respect.

    What are those even for?

knucks....where are the safety pins? Doesn't that squat setup seem a little dangerous?

Its like a slimmed down version of a foam roller. You just hold each end of the stick and use it to roll out your muscles.

When someones doing shrugs in the rack I just ask them to put the bar on the outside pins. Can usually still squat.

I take about an hour to do 5 working sets and 5 warm up sets. Max out erryset.

    Badical stuff knucks

Coldsnap, as far as daily protein intake goes, 1 tub cottage cheese, 8oz meat, and 6 eggs is my baseline and brings me to about 150g a day. Past that, its pretty easy to fill in the remaining 50 (200g minimum) with a different cut of meat or yogurt or something and then all of the random bits of protein in bread, cheese etc bring me to 230 which is my sweet spot. Havent needed whey for a couple months now. If you have a daily standard of easily prepared protein your life will be much easier - scrambling to fill your intake at days end by slamming cans of tuna is neither sustainable or enjoyable.

Random thought: bands own. Bought a set to keep at work and my joints have never been happier. 100 #1 band pullaparts daily = happy shoulders.
