8 or 9 calories in a gram of fat right?
After a week or two you will get the hang of it. I use fitday.com because I now have a good list of custom foods that cover 90% of what I eat so it's really quick to plug in my meals.
Yea, maybe I will. First day I totally undershot my calories and overshot my fat.
Don't wait until the end of the day to log calories, esp when you are first starting. Log after your 1st or 2nd meal so you can see how you are tracking for the day.
Cool, I did that today. Noticed I was behind on protein and ate a can of tuna real fast.
I always plug my food into Fitday a day or two ahead of time. That way, I can play around with the food and food quantity until I get near the caloric and macro goal for that day. Logging foods as you go along throughout the day can back you into a corner when you suddenly realize you don't have near enough protein or way too much fat, etc.
pretty much this.
Err sorry...I don't do leangains per say...it's more of just intermittent fasting with a surplus. I don't get into Martin's business with macros or even the whole different surplus on different days thing.
I guess we can talk for 3 pages about your fucking pants again instead.
Was just reading a thread on T-Nation about people who complain they cant build muscle:
WTF is this. To start training with a 150lb bench you have to be pretty gifted i would think. I started with a fucking 40lb bench, its probably 160lb now after a year or so. Mesomorphs have no idea what its like to literally start from nowhere and have zero muscle or strength. My first year was probably spent getting up to the level that most people start at, feelsbadman. I often wonder if the guy who starts at 180lb has more muscular potential that the guy who is 140 at the same height, or if through hard work they will both arrive at the same place.
Sounds about right.
150 lb bench gifted gtfo
