^ecg stacks really help me get through a period of no food so i can eat better when i have time

i used to hook grip but my coach switched me to a mixed grip (he said hook grips are best on guys with big hands -_-?). i really like it. i hold the bar in the flesh of my hand instead of on my fingers as i find i lift a lot more that way. occasionally if i lift too much my blisters will tear off but no biggie. just glue it back on and keep lifting.

Found out what was hurting my wrist. Been racking the bar quite a few inches off centre. Feels no different having it in the middle of my back other then my wrist not hurting. Don't know how I didn't notice this, friend had to point it out. Ab DOMS from squatting for the first time, feels weird, never had them before

It may be that I got my belt down to the 7th hole and it just hurt my stomach, but I think its DOMS. Noticed I kept my chest up a lot more as well. Could be from that.

Probably just bruising from your belt. I get that a lot.

Since early november. Could be bruising, started wearing it tighter recently. Used to wear it kind of lose so I had some room to push my stomach into, but I've been getting it tight as possible recently. I put it on when I get to 100kg, probably get 20kg out of it. Squatted 140kg for 3 without it once, don't like not using it, feels weird. Mechanics feel different. I don't see why I would ever do training sets without it, love the thing. Inzer4lyfe2k12.

Went to 10 year high school reunion, lots of compliments on the physique - pec/bicep squeezing. While I am not ripped like some on this board, I guess it does help give me a little "real world" perspective. Feelsgoodman.

Will it be a good idea to buy som Vibrams FF for squats? They cost a pretty penny in Singapore.

If all you're getting VFFs for is to squat, just squat barefoot / in socks.

I squat barefoot all the time. No need for the VFF's. Squatting isn't like running where you risk tearing your feet up with no protection.
