    I have something like 5kg to put on to be at -77.. guess summer's a good a time as any to do so.

    front squats and oats here I come

    So after some feedback from folks here and elsewhere, I've widened my stance for squats. I had to drop my weight for a couple weeks to get adjusted, but today I got 315 x 7 and felt great afterwards, which is where I was with the narrow stance. Hopefully, I'll be able to continue progress and get a 4 plate single in a couple weeks.

    Hey guys,

    Ive been doing SS for a few months now and everything is working nicely (albeit slowly) except for my squat which is infuriatingly difficult. I add weight to all my lifts except for squats where i decrease weight and it still doesnt seem to help. I can OHP almost double what I can squat with good form...also my legs look and feel strong with good calf and quad development relative to my overall physique. I ran all through High School and do regular hill sprints on non leg days

    I have had an issue where i always walk on the balls of my feet. Im wondering if this is the cause or symptomatic of the issue that gives me so much trouble squatting?

    Please help! Its incredible frustrating...

    Interesting moments at gym today....

    Someone volunteers to spot me on snatch. Had to politely tell him that having spotter for o-lifts is probably more dangerous than not having spotter; he'll either be in the way of the weight, or in the way of me as I'm trying to get away from the weight.

    Another guy asks me what exercises are good for getting abs. I tell him "heavy squats, deadlifts, and olympic lifts" and he looks so sad. Decide to show him dragon flags so he doesn't get too upset.

    Finally, I get asked about my shoes, if they're new Nike basketball shoes "cause they look bad-ass." Why yes, they do indeed look bad-ass. But they're not basketball shoes-- pretty sure I'd fuck up my legs nice and good trying to play ball in Romaleos.

    I've felt like a fat piece of shit the past 2 days. I dunno why. I really need to start doing cardio maybe? Fat % isn't doping as fast as I'd like it. Thinking about buying some cleats at wallmart and hitting some hills.



    Wtf knucks I'm catching up to you. Are you doing any cardio?
