having to adjust to early morning workouts sucks nuts; i dont even feel the coffee working before its time to lift and im still kinda zonked when im on the bike warming up. not too concerned for upper days, but getting the motivation to rip out 3x10 deads will be trying the first few weeks im sure.
my new job has a chef on staff and feeds me daily; can't really track my macros but i've been eyeballing the best i can. can't argue with free food while working at a video game studio.. they have a corporate rate at the goodlife in the building but its still 17.50 bimonthly which still sucks nuts. $300 yearly fitness subsidy though, might be worth it.
Man... if pulling deadlifts isn't motivation in itself to pull, I don't know what is...

also talked to a fellow lifter at our club earlier this wk, he's been talking to the municipality to fund another OL gym and the kicker is it would be located like 2 km from where I live. that would be so cash
Might be getting my new bar and weight set at the weekend, incredibly cheap but a 4 hour round trip. Then to find a bench and power rack.

I'm not that excited for D3 because I actually meet up with a gruop every wednesday and play D&D, which hits all the same spots.
The nice thing about playing D&D in 2012 is that MMO's get the super socially awkward people so D&D is just people who like the social aspect of it.

Hit a 95kg single on the front squat. It's getting there, I have the leg strength for more, but not the ab strength. Also the dorsi flexion (or whatever ankle flexion is called) really hurts. Feels like someone is cutting my calf in half, I have pretty much no dorsi flexion when I back squat so I'm not used to it. How to improve other then front squatting more? I also get calf DOMS, which is quite unusual. Gonna put back squats on hold for a while and do good mornings and front squats. After putting 25kg on my back squat fairly quickly I feel like im gonna plateau soon so ill change to front squats for a bit.

As a fellow short dude with relatively big thighs (though not yours obvi), I wouldn't worry too much about perfect waist fit? A little cowboy-sag looks good, and if you're going to tuck in shirts, a looser waistband keeps blousing from being too pronounced (and a little blousing is inevatable when you've got a decent drop IME, even with MTM)
