    deload week, tried being fast, dont know if i succeeded. gotta learn the bounce out of the bottom :/ not a lot of weight, whatever.

    If I'm doing 5/3/1 three days a week, so M-Press W-Dead F-Bench then skip to next M-Squat. Should I deload at the end of my third week?

    You should deload when you get to it in the program; which means at the end of 4 weeks.

    aight. I was thinking since my training cycle is a bit longer than some people on 5 3 1 that i might not have to deload. I probably should though, my shoulder will thank me .

    There are no similarities between LK and Frank Yang other than being Chinese and having similar last names. LK would smoke a cigarette out of a holder made out of some rare animal's bone, get bored watching you squat and leave. Is he even alive anymore?

    I pause box squats for like a 2 count usually.

    My hopes that knucks was dave tate have been ruined, feels badman.

    Whoa that's gonna be hard. Have to get stronger. I'm only squatting max of 1.2x bodyweight for 5 reps.

    Wel thats if I'm pausing them, most of the time I just touch and go, paused for accessory work.

    Personally, I find it way more convenient to run one of his 3 day programs that keeps the cycle inside of a single week. He has one in the book and one on T-nation (within the last month). Makes the work outs a bit more "beginner" oriented and a bit more full body.

    Not entirely sure what is going on, but I've been running a pseudo carb backloading for 6 weeks and am up 5 lbs.

    Does anyone have any experience with so-called clean bulking? Any particular programs work well?

    Any time you're in calorie excess, you'll get fat. Sure, clean bulking works, but you'd be a fool to think you won't put on any fat doing it..
