Random health and exercise thoughts

    I can usually find chicken breasts for less than a couple bucks a pound. Extra lean ground beef is maybe $5 a pound, but can often be found on sale for $4 or slightly less.

    Also, not everyone handles dairy well. Most whey is pretty gross, too, and can disagree with some people's digestive system. I keep a tub of it around to use in a pinch or after heavy lifting, but I wouldn't count on it to make up a significant portion of my protein intake for the day.

    I agree. I have no problem getting enough protein from meat sources.

    Tonight I eat carbs, so stoked. I've lost 3lbs so far but I feel like my physique has changed, girlfriend made a comment. I feel much flatter in the stomach and chest area throughout the day.

    After reading the suggestion I decided to give Norton's PHAT a try. You weren't kidding about the volume, talk about great pumps after you leave the gym. Finished the first week today, arms looking gigantic after the chest/arms hypertrophy day. :slayer:

    Back feels so much better after one day off from the gym. Sometimes its hard to let go of my compulsive desire to get to the gym even when I know long-term it is best for me to rest.

    Going to rest up until the back is completely healed and then look at a 5ish day lifting routine while I have all this free time. Maybe something stupid like PHAT.
