what are you talking about? what i'm saying is that he'll make linear progress on a better program, and eating within his macros will ensure he can do so without turning into a fatty. not sure how you managed to turn this into a dog's breakfast for me, i was putting on size without getting overly fat; i think if i stuck with it i would've reached chariy's point where it keeps you lean at a certain BW but ensures great strength gains. i stopped it because i have pretty sensitive skin and 7k cals worth of crap in a day wasn't doing me any favours in that regard. i still love the zig-zag, some days suck pretty bad but there's usually enough room on the next day to eat something i've been craving.
