Saveur will no longer publish a print edition.

  1. i took oit a subscription last year. Glad i got two of them i suppose
  2. They had cut down to quarterly so this was probably inevitable
  3. The magazine they are replacing my subscription with.....yeah.
  4. Yet another really worrisome sign for print media (as if there were another kind)
  5. I dislike this beyond the personal impact because having an ambitious magazine for food keeps the industry from getting stale or cliche. I don't know what replaces Saveur.

What’s the secret to making great spanakopita?
Don't know. My mother made it frequently when I was a kid and there is no comparison with the way she made it to what most people make.
She made 3 versions. Just cheese, sometimes with spinach and another with ground beef. My family is Macedonian and maybe its a derivative of how Greeks make it.
Sorry I can't contribute anything, wish I knew how to make it.
