Haha yes I do. 3 times in the past week I have settled for just black shoes and thought to myself, patent is needed, but it would have to be the right last. Really I just want Labelking's navy ones.

JD, I gotta give kunk the win here, you really don't. If you're a masochist though, Dolce and Gabbana or Gucci honestly might produce something you're into.

Perhaps I should post a fit demonstrating this point. I mean I can just use my tramezzas, but they're not exactly what I have in mind. Dolce is generally too elongated / sharp, gucci probably likewise but I'm not super familiar with it.

Magician - I checked out Andrew Jackson Jihad cause of your recommendation. They are pretty sweet, but damn they sound exactly like a funkier/harder Mountain Goats. Do you see it?
Oh yeah, totally. This is what happens when kids who grew up on the Circle Jerks and Black Flag get a copy of some Neutral Milk Hotel and Mountain Goats. And it is glorious. Actually I was just at a local folk punk show where they covered "Going to Georgia" with an accordion and a fiddle.
Prove your loyalty. Next fit pic must incorporate a The Hold Stead t-shirt or I'm calling you on this.
My little fucking brother took my last hold steady shirt to college with him [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I can incorporate a smashed Boys and Girls in America case and a cigarette burn scar from the first time i saw them in to the next fit though.

Ha, well I have a 100% silk coat with silk buttons which is about as close to tux as it's going to get, and also the jil marbled blazer. Either black, navy or burgundy pants. It's possible that black calf does work just as well, but in my head, patent makes more sense.

I could see white or grey patent shoes looking great with that marbled jacket. Fuck the haters, if you can afford to have a patent shoe in your wardrobe go for it
