ahaha I feel your pain. I bought mine in a size small, threw them in the wash, and now they're tight as fuck. I feel like otter when I'm wearing them, but at least they're just undershirts. [IMG]

This is exactly why I am starting to think that Hanes undershirts make the best t-shirts.

Get a size that shrinks too much when you wash the sht outta it and then run your hands under the shirt while wearing it for stretch, thereby creating the perfect fit. It cost you a dollar so you may wash it as hard as you want and stretch it as much as you like.

The only problem I am having is that a Small is maybe a bit on the short side, but it stretches vertically, too.

I have no choice -- if i don't wash after each wear they smell.

I either hand wash or put them in the hand wash cycle in the washing machine. I use a very small amount of woolite, then hang dry. most people use way way too much detergent, which is a mistake. I also use a Jiffy steamer and never iron.

I never had any fading and the shirts look basically brand new. I have a fairly large rotation of shirts which helps shirt longevity.

get an upright garment steamer. generally works pretty good on the pits - which is mainly the only area that gets "dirty" on my dress shirts. steam cleaning works for 2 or 3 wears. then to the (delicate) wash they go.

-sigged Bleach and Cigarettes KILL/RUIN/DESTROY clothing so much. I can't tell you how many amazing shirts I find at the thrift store that have a cigarette burn thats just barely noticable. Its also total garbage to see RAD levis/Lee/Wrangler gear that would have a great color had it not been washed w/ bleach.

So, I just made the last payment on my daughter's schooling until she goes away to college in 11 years. It was basically a new pair of premium denim each month for the past 4 years [IMG]

I should celebrate by buying something for myself.

I sent her to a private school so she could get a good education! The public schools around here are way overcrowded, and it's hit or miss as to whether the teacher even cares about teaching. I'm certainly not complaining, because it was worth it. I'm just a bit relieved at the moment.
