I don't think that store that sold Sutors exists anymore, they never sold anything and they were just a proprietary select shop of Lotte's, easy to kill off. That kind of stuff never lasts here.

I know of most of those shoe brands listed actually, I've checked a lot of them out in person, and they're impressive as shoes, I guess. For now I just want a cheap ($350ish) pair of dress shoes in an upper tier of quality, while knowing they aren't what I want anyway - I like really aggressive, distinctive, modern lasts. I have many more years of life for wearing traditional last shapes. My favorite shoes I've bought in the past few years are the Jil Sander X Church's wholecuts, and they definitely have a non traditional last. I had high hopes for the FW08 Jil runway shoes as well and in production they turned to garbage. I got the cutaway toes and ended up passing them along, the toe detail was completely different than in the runway shots, the leather was different, the whole presentation was not the same.
The pair of dress shoes I'd like to have right now are the BBBF longwings in beige, but they're about $900 out my way. [IMG]

    Balmorals with medallion:

All $339 in the USA. Probably a little more for shipping to Korea.

    There are also brown versions.

lol look at this obliterated package from yoox.

Every package I get from them looks the same way, like it was attacked by angry fashion gnomes. Am I the only one, or am I receiving special vip treatment here? contents were undamaged btw, amazingly.

Special VIP. My Yoox packages have nearly always arrived pristine. Actually, my UPS guy will even cover it with a piece of plastic tarp if it is raining or snowing.

I enjoy the notion of angry fashion gnomes.

Anybody know any yoox codes? They never seem to mark down footwear.

I like the balmoral with the medallions too. I understand Drew, and my wardrobe shows it, but I think that it's good to have some "man clothes" for serious ass occasions (weddings, your's kid's baptism, funerals). I probably have a few years on Drew though.

My packages from forwardforward always end up looking as beat-up as that yoox box. I remember the box for my CPs looked like they imploded.

My package from forwardforward is not coming because someone bought my shoes literally minutes before I could. Thanks for re-opening (day) old wounds. But in srsness Forward and Revolve are the same and everything I've got from revolve has gone seamlessly.

I've had the same treatment of every yoox order I've placed. Nothing damaged either, but never had anything else delivered that looked as beat up.

The APC thread makes my head hurt. If you've got 20+ pounds of beer chub on you, it's probably not the fit of your pants you should be worrying about. Additionally, sizing down becomes a problem when you look like an orange on a pair of toothpicks. [IMG]
