well if they're MTM why do you even need the tabs? I thought he either meant they'll fit perfectly cuz they're mtm (thus no need for a belt) or that there won't even be belt loops (-_- not belt buckles)

If you don't go in for a fitting it's almost impossible to fit perfectly unless it's partly elastic. Gotta be tabs. Plus you'd want tabs anyways.

I don't think anyone really gets even bespoke trousers without tabs or loops.

I remember epic hype regarding Crate. It was ultimate, etc.

Then grundleholes appeared, and the whole hype machine fell apart like a wet burrito.

One of the finer examples of SF hype cycle, with the time frame even shorter than usual.

It started because Mauro got that huge shipment in last spring and they proceeded to build it up as the best denim at its price. Not surprisingly, tons of people bought into it, depleting the shop's stock. That got followed up by the CvsF jean, which was promoted in such a way that people were practically trying to reach through their monitors to get a pair.

The only cut/color of Crates that ever really caught my eye were those limited edition Grey Journals.
