NYT ran a story yesterday alleging that the following looks are current NY clubwear. this is more eccentric than our most eccentric SF member.

excerpt from article: "Despite their devotion to fashion, the party hoppers of the last decade who went to club nights like Misshapes were pretty low-key; their signature look was skinny jeans, a designer T-shirt and bangs in their eyes. Now, with even middle-of-the-road young people dressing more smartly, that look is changing. The last year saw rumblings of a return of club-kid finery and the kinds of madcap outfits that were a mainstay of the 1980s and early 1990s nightclub scene."

^The Epaulets are rad but the only black ones I'm aware of are cotton moleskin, not wool.

Tell me more. I'm not sure how comfortable I am with the beltless thing not trying them on though, so I'd have to be convinced. Even if they are MTM.

im sure they will have tabs
well if they're MTM why do you even need the tabs? I thought he either meant they'll fit perfectly cuz they're mtm (thus no need for a belt) or that there won't even be belt loops (-_- not belt buckles)

Sadly enough, I really enjoy my CvF's. Dark, greasy, nice length, slim. They are the only 'soft' jeans I own, the rest are starched to hell and back, and it makes me think the mega starch thing is really over done.
