Today's random thought: Is it just me, or is this the most retarded denim-related post ever?
uh yea it is. I like the bit where he added how the bleaching effect was "normal for skinheads in the 1970s". Um not quite, yes bleachers were popular but not the way Hap's jeans are. [IMG]

I have way too many clothes, items that go a season with 1 or even no wears, that has to be a sign its time to clean out the closet..

Might be a sign you're not buying the right clothes. (?)

True... 'bleachers' usually have a lot of contrasting bleached and unbleached areas, but I don't need to tell you that.

I seriously want to spend a good day at Klaxon Howl.

You would love the place. It has a great collection of vintage military and workwear clothing. The owners really, really, know their stuff. Me, I like the sister store, Delphic, a little more, but both terrific stores. Toronto originals. Those, and Sydneys, imo, are the best stores in TO. I know that people talk about Nomad and Lileo, but to me, those stores just don't have the character of the aforementioned three.

No, though I could probably help them with their websites.

First day of classes over here. I can't lie: I dig the cute girls with hipster-esque style.

How long until hipsterism is over?

It is probably at its peak or just passed it in LA, now it is sweeping the nation and gaining momentum with all the cool kids who think they are ahead of the curve. Much like the ed hardy movement that is fizzling (except for middle of nowhere states) it will probably have a lifespan of 2-3 years. Prepare to see much much more in your hood.

I don't know about you, but I'll certainly "put up with" hipsters over Ed Hardy.
