1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Did you ever see the Kapital for Louis Vuitton boro jackets? They are different from anything that Kapital usually does, with much cleaner lines, and are literally made from rags. If I could find one and buy it without my wife ending my life, I'd probably do it.

This is exactly what happened to me, twice (with one of them I'd worn and washed the shirt a bunch of times, but still).

I wish someone would steal the pattern and make an upgraded version: improve the construction, fix the issue with pilling at the hem, maybe get some nicer buttons and fabric (although I actually like the fabric AA uses).

Unfortunately, it seems like the kind of maker that would put together an upgraded version would also be the kind of maker that wouldn't directly rip off someone else's pattern.

Kind of reminds me of the Needles Rebuild stuff, although that's in a totally different aesthetic (and price) category. Still, they're using rags to to build what most would call a luxury item.

^ I'm fine with paying meter. I'd prefer to avoid highway robbery + a side of sodomy if I can though.

I'll totally second that -- though I always feel weird wearing them as underwear, given how expensive, heavy and just damn pretty they are...
