1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Probably lots of things.

    @Mr. Moo and
    @nahneun I am not here to be the thought police, but I also don't want gender politics discussed here, unless it is in the specific context of FASHION. If you want to, we have a current events forum in which you are free to participate.

    The discussion about transvestites, transgendered, and anything trans, cis, or whatever, on this thread, in this subforum, is now over.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

    I apologize for any transgressions. We all seem to have deviated from the transcript, so I agree that transitioning back to normal thread topics is the right thing. Let's transcend all of our differences, and accept responsibility instead of transferring it elsewhere.

    A salumi sandwich with these amazing "mama li's" peppers from Seattle. Also, chickpeas soup. Some wierd vegan chips that taste like the 80s, but are definitely priced like the 2010s.

    I had a delicious tossed salad from Safeway. Grilled chicken, broccoli, kale, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and a tangy dressing.

    In the 80s, in Canada, there was a spice blend that was commonly used in snacks and, oddly enough, prepackaged Italian frozen foods. I am not sure how to explain it except to say, they were corn chips with a lot of salt, and I believe... a lot of dried thyme and some basil. Maybe some dried oregano. At the same time unpleasant and addictive. I ate a lot of them.

    Sounds a bit like holiday chips, they are disgusting and you can taste how bad your breath is.

    Not to shit on your meal, which sounds pretty good. but... that sounds like an odd cubano, the main elements of which are pork, some sort of ham, pickles, cheese, and mustard.

    So all you dudes spending insane money on housing in CA, are you all born and raised in the area (thus cost is not as jarring and I'm assuming pay is relatively higher)?

    Not born, but raised. Prices are still hilarious today but not too bad if you bought a while back and have built good equity.
