There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I seem to again be going down the rabbit hole of skinny jeans. The skinnier you try, the skinnier you buy. The last pair I bought was really skinny. At a cruise, a female friend complimented them, and I made some comment on how they're basically almost women's jeans. We switched jeans, and there was basically no difference.

Eh nothing wrong with skinny jeans in the right fit imo, it's nice to have some variety and different pants to change between.
No way it will ever the only thing I wear though.

Speaking of pants, anyone have any ideas for a cropped wool/cotton pair with heavy drop-crotch?
Obvious choice are the comme de garcons ones, but the diaper effect on those when worn is just too much for me.

If you are just looking for a higher rise with some taper, and don't want to spend a ton, I'd check out APC Petit New Standard. I picked up a pair last month in Sz 31 and its been great(maximum style regression reached) They have a 6.75" hem 10" rise and an 11.5" thigh. Theyre pretty loose in the waist but I don't care because they're pretty comfy everywhere else. I also wear a 31/32 in DH.

I tried some on a few weeks back - couldn't really tell the difference between them and my petit standards. Rise not noticeably higher, at least. But thanks!

Wear a belt and sling them super low of your hips.

Indigo jeans rule. To appreciate them, you have to be a nerd though, and necessarily a repro nerd, but definitely a textiles neard. It's all about the details, the treatments (indigo warp threads that have been painted black? Pretty awesome. Black weft to accompany a super dark indigo warp? The result is actually slightly "brighter" than you'd expect but it fades to dark indigo and white. If you just get standard, not very interesting, indigo jeans, then yeah, of course they are going to be boring.

Can't stand stretch in my jeans.

Studded = Balenciaga. It's sorta their thing. I'm not as sure about spiked. I think Lanvin, which also does a cool, very crisp, buckle, did a good one a few seasons back. Um, have you looked, and I hesistate to say this, Saint Laurent Paris?

No, don't do the oversized coat with skinny pants. If you go to tradeshows and fashion shows, you will see that ALL the cool kids do it, and accordingly, hate it. I call it the Pitti silhouette, and yes, it translates into "streetwear" as well. Slim coat/jacket with baggy pants - I've always loved that Akido style silhouette.

Thx for the tip, but looking for something more *cool japanese streetwear*-esque. So way more cropped, way more drop-crotch and some thinner fabric

(which basically is describing the cdg ones, but ugh they bunch so much)

Yeah that's it. I got some black brushed cotton drop ride pants by then from Need Supply about 6 months ago and they're pretty great. It's not an extreme drop and the hem lands right at the ankle.
