To me, this feels like a throwback to the 90's in a lot of ways. It's like I'm watching a Breeders video or something.

Also, isn't this kind of advertising pretty much antithetical to the ethos that the label started out with? Granted, they've been on this road for at least a few years now...

It was posted on the brand's tumblr so I doubt it's a big thing but, yeah, MMM now has a tumblr and lots of little PR initiatives that you wouldn't have seen before. They also use linings with "Martin Margiela" written in gold on some line 14 pieces, sad.

Just saw c4est post. Where's chaat place?

1013 6th ave, between 37th and 38th, on the west side of the street. It's like a regular newsstand but with various food inside. As mentioned earlier I can't vouch for it now because the more I'm reading the more it seems to have changed, but I'll give it another go anyway when I can.

When Bourdain started he had some poignant insights and met interesting people. Now he just gets drunk, eats hot dogs and repeats his own jaded slurs.

I don't see the problem here.

The Great Gatsby was pure eye candy. Baz Luhrmann did a great job so did Miuccia Prada for the costumes and Leo is just divine.

I want to get this cardi from Brooks Brothers/ Gatsby movie collab. It's the same cardi that Tobey Maguire's character Nick wore in the movie

that looks pretty DIYable
or bring a similar blue denim-jacket to a tailor, show him a pic and let him do his magic
