1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

If it helps to know, I've sent some pretty badly stained clothes to Rave Fabricare in Arizona and they've always been able to take care of things. Their usual advice is don't pre-treat stuff, but instead just send it to them as-is. Prices aren't cheap, but they're also not bad.

And now you know why i stay away from Sligos.

To be fair the party i went to was super chill and much less crowded than other years. Weird that this is my last bit in Boston...

What is missed is that fashion is becoming less and less centralized, with many trends and styles co-existing. Yes, there are still trends, but subcultures keep and discard different trends at different rates. Certainly, we see this here. Styleforum, because of its large audience and "big tent" philosophy, shows this more than many other sites. And it's clearly not just on Styleforum. Although there has been a trend here towards technical clothing, the "heritage" trend is hardly dead. Just look at fairs like Liberty and Bread&Butter.

@mike868y – Seconding dieworkwear's Rave Fabricare recommendation. They've gotten dye and ink both out of white shirts of mine. I paid about $20/shirt.

No kidding. I remember people saying it in 2008 when i got here.

The fuller looks in that WSJ article are not inspiring. SF does fuller fits 10x better than that.

Even though I prefer slim cuts, there are some hakamas that I have been pondering. They look good here with a fitted jacket.

These are one of the better iterations, though more like balloon pants than hakamas due to the fastening of hems. The layering effect is nuts and your legs are actually behind two different folds of fabrics (cupro and cotton mix) that overlap but aren't sewn shut so beware strong winds

    Was wearing them here

Bread&Butter died this year because they made a series of poor decisions, each worse then the previous. Nothing to do with the popularity of denim. Apparently, shows are already coming up to gobble up the choicest pieces of the carcass.

RG sale has prob the best prices on nonnative you'll see in NA. Very little left, though, and tiny sizes.

geobaskets: all black or all black upper with white sole, which do you prefer?
not going for sporty rick, more of what he was channeling in older collections (proportions, silhouette, etc).
