you're probably just not used to seeing yourself in the color. seriously. burgundy isn't that hard to deal with. but i feel like there's an acclimation period for colors you're not used to, especially if they're bottoms. looks really overbearing to you, but to other people it's not that dramatic. maybe i'm just projecting. but if you start wearing it more you'll figure it out pretty quickly
