1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

10sei0otto is a good choice for a "value" leather, especially if you can snag one on sale

in other news, anime is terrible and the raiders just scored 40 points and beat the seahawks. I know it's the preseason but lol

Have we ever done one of those "explain what your user name means" derails?

My username sounds way too try-hard. It's also a misunderstanding.

Mixed it up with the philosophical theory "conceptualism", which I thought was cool (both the word and the theory) when I was 16 or something and needed a username for another forum. Conceptionists, on the other hand, turned out to be a religious order of nuns, ha.

OK... First I'll access the secret military spy satellite that's in a geosynchronous orbit over the Midwest. Then, I'll ID the limo by the vanity plate "MR. BIGGG" and get his approximate position. Then, I'll reposition the transmitter dish on the remote truck to 17.32 degrees east, hit WESTAR 4 over the Atlantic, bounce the signal down into the Azores, up to COMSAT 6, beam it back to SATCOM 2 transmitter number 137, and down on the dish on the back of Mr. Big's limo... It's almost too easy.

A friend of mine found this in the pocket of his Dad's old suit jacket. This is very serious tweed.

You know that dude's original full name was Donald MacDonald, but he shortened it to Don MacDonald after being given some grief.

Personally, I would have gone the other way and tried to get the honorific title of Don. So Don Donald MacDonald.

New Gray knitwear on NMWA lives up to the Pitti writeup by @Synthese, although his pics were of SS15 wares.

“For more than forty years that I have been making clothes, I have never thought about fashion. In other words, I have almost no interest in it. What I’ve only ever been interested in are clothes that one has never seen before, that are completely new, and how and in what way they can be expressed. Is that called fashion? I don’t know the answer. I feel that the fashion business inhabits a different world again. The point is, is it possible to connect these two completely different worlds?”
