1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

He has some nice watches, but any one who owns a yacht master II and a pair of golden Beats headphones, has horrible taste.

I can now confirm that www.other-shop.com is sponsoring the WAYWT challenge with a prize of GBP250! That's some serious dough so get out there and do something and make a friend or stranger take a pic.

Given the recent conversation, maybe a winning entry would be assaulting someone with your baller watch?

So is Yoox so terrible because they just use the same model no matter what the size of the clothing is?
I mean, I know there are numerous reasons it is horrible, but in terms of the fit pics is that the main reason? Clothes are either many sizes too big/small for the model?

there's nothing like that feeling when you salivate (metaphorically!) over a piece for the whole season and then, when you finally cop it, realize it sucks.

i got this lee roach jacket from the corner. was really looking forward to getting my futurism on. but the cut is horribad. like, the chest is really tight, but since the sleeves are also quite long and the waist is on the roomy side, sizing up probably wouldn't work.

I can't imagine a body it would actually fit. I think it was ghost-designed by Everlane

Anyone have suggestions for a pop-over anorak? Looking for something simple in a light nylon, waxed cotton or Ventile -- in short, something water resistant. Been digging the Battenwear Packable but can't find a sustainable color/material in my size.

I think the only brands I'm willing to spend money on anymore are Dries and TheSoloist. There are random pieces from others here and there, but those are the main ones. I'll probably feel totally different in a few months, but that's how it is right now anyway.

Props to anyone who can make Dries work in their personal wardrobe-- I dig most of it, but I feel weird wearing loud printy stuff.

Oh, and if any of you have the chance to make a disappointing purchase, I highly recommend it. Gives you a new appreciation for the sweet gear you already own.

That Lee Roach blazer really soured you, huh? Assuming that's what you're referring to. Sucks man. I hate that.

There's a ton of Dries that isn't loud at all. But if you want to go that route it's a good brand to do it with.
