1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The Tokyo pant doesn't even have a coin pocket. :censored:

I haven't checked them out in person, but from the pictures I've seen, I don't think they have an elongated rise, either.

I guess I lucked out on the pairs I have; one was from Four Horsemen and was possibly something they found in the back of the storeroom, and the other was on ebay and mislabeled as Westpoint chinos.

Semi-related - @LA Guy, did you succeed in finding a sashiko fabric for Luxire to use to make a jacket for you?

I ended up getting the Garbstore jacket instead, though I might still try to find a heavier sashiko. The jacket I have from Blue Blue jacket is has a luxurious weightiness. The Garbstore jacket is nice, but it's definitely thinner. The underlying canvas is lighter, and the stitching is single yarn rather than doubled yarn.

tbh i don't know who's trolling who nowadays,

i love everyone. on the other hand, i think i invest too much of my personal time on this forum

i kind of just browse nowadays and +1 posts i find funny or that i agree with

too many sub-topics spring up and i kind of want to call people out but at the same time don't carenough to do so. the forum moves too fast...

the latest topic in RFT i thoroughly enjoyed, i believe it was started by Shah regarding Christophe Lemaire  and others sharing their opinions

a while ago i thrifted this denim jacket with a cotton lining, elastic ribbing (correct me if i'm using wrong term), and metal clasps instead of buttons or a zipper. thing is really cool but i know nothing about it or the brand

Prob nothing new that everyone hasn't already heard of.

ASW for CM stuff, although they don't really publish anymore

    https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/a-suitable-wardrobe/id441590442?mt=2

Menswear House, which is very #Tumblr focused.

    http://menswearhousepodcast.tumblr.com/

(Note, they used to have more episodes, but they deleted them for some reason)

I also like Thread Cult, but it's more orientated towards the sewing community. Still, even for a layman like me, I find some of the talks interesting.

x-post because, well it's kinda cool of a company to have this attitude and it's possible there are people here who 1. have cool ideas but 2. can't do it themselves and 3. maybe don't know about Luxire yet

What was the name of that company that made shoes a little like Common Projects, superficially, out of China? We talked about them here a few years back. Someone asked my on my Reddit AMA yesterday, and now it's bugging me.
