They also got rid of delivery confirmation. It's called usps tracking now and you have to get it added in at the register, no more green slips. It's free with priority now though.

Can someone recommend nice, black/very dark grey jeans/heavier cotton pants cut similar to Label Under Construction washi material pants, or MA+ 5 pocket pants, etc? I like that style (roomier top block with a strong-ish taper), but don't want to drop $1k+, or even $500 for second hand, etc....

I'm happy with my black Zam B soft J pants. Regular/roomy upper block and strong taper. I got the cotton version and they're thick and sturdy, but still drapes nicely.

The J cut, frayed hem and long inseam might not be exactly what you're looking for, but if you hem them (I got rid of the fraying), they will work well with non-SZ-stuff. J cut legs makes for stacking on the outside of the leg and that the outseam twists to the front of the leg by the hem.

I got mine for 220 shipped on one of his sample sales.

It's not as bad as you'd think... its a relief some times. I no longer get asked prices/brands, just a 'I really like X thing', 'X label/style?'

I knew I'd totally desensitized everyone to my clothing expenditures when I had dinner with my grandmother and she asked how much my sweater cost. I said four, and she asked "Four hundred, or four thousand?"
