1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

why would you correlate buying boring, expensive sneakers with having good taste?

I've seen a lot of black kicks, mid-calf black socks, black shorts lately in various editorials and lookbooks and I've actually liked far more than not.

Well they are not that common around here, I think there's one maybe two retailers, so you have to be in to fashion to even know about them, so I presumed that people who buy them have some level of taste.

seems to me that black socks are the only option with shorts (or white socks if you're wearing adilettes).

Invisible socks or nothing that's your two options, unless you are a middle aged German.

What's the SF PREFERRED way of making iced coffee that won't require me to spend more than $10 on new equipment?

Been making coffee ice cubes and then throwing them in hot coffee haha

Make it the night before, chill in fridge overnight, then add a few coffee ice cubes if you wish.

If you have a french press, you can make cold brew in it.

Just put a ton of coffee in there, water, leave over night, press in the morning, maybe let it steep again for a bit if you like it stronger, then ice it up and enjoy.

I bought a giant french press just for this reason and it's awesome. Makes about 2-3 days worth at a time.

Cool, thanks for the coffee tips. My French press is tiny, might grab a bigger one for cold brew.

This stuff is brilliant, next time Rakuten has like a free shipping sale or whatever:

Yeah, you should still be able to do it, but you'll need to do it nightly. Not a huge deal. I'd err on the stronger side since you can always ice it down to make it more palatable if it's too strong.

I tried making cold brew coffee once and it ravaged my stomach :(. So now I cold brew heaping pitchers of yerba mate, and I must report the buzz is very pleasing
