1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It depends on how many layers of wallpaper and how many years the person has lived there.

I lived in an apartment, where the previous resident had been smoking cigars everyday for 40 years and we had to remove 5 layers of wallpaper and wash the walls and celling down to get rid of the smell prior to moving in.

I don't really think of Margiela being known for their prints, aside from the occasional trompe l'oeil. Does anyone know who the current print designer(s) at Margiela is/are right now? Or do you think some random project they gave to an intern that was particularly adept at this sort of work

Like exactly the same? I have a problem with never buying the same stuff multiple times, even in different colorways. Like there are lots of really cool fabrics done for EG andovers, but I can't bring myself to buy them cause I already have a grey wool one. I'll buy the baker, bedford, etc, but can't bring myself to buy the same cut/details in a different fabric. Same with Visvim, really like Virgils but I'd feel weird having two pairs

I think it's too big of a project for an intern. They did some rooms in this hotel: http://blog.damasketdentelle.com/index.php/2013/03/hotel-la-maison-de-martin-margiela/

They've done other interior stuff too. Lots of mirrors and trompe d'loeil white prints.

I think the feed was always an experimental thing that they tested on a random % of users.

Didn't bother to try tried a couple other things, but when found out that there was 5 layers everything went.

Lived in another place where there was 7 layers in some places and one of them was newspapers from the 70s.

Assuming you're already doing all the standard stuff (the bridge, the clock, the castle, etc):

Tancici Dum (Dancing house) by Gehry
    Alphonse Mucha Museum
Eat at Sarah Bernhardt Restaurant for even more Czech Art Nouveau
Cream & Dream for gelato, if it's still open.
Go to a Czech Pub for beer, Potrefena Husa (The Wounded Goose) is good
Find the hanging Freud (close to Cream & Dream)
    Walk around Letna Park
    Have absinthe
Have palacinky z zmrzlinou for dessert
There's always Kampa Park if you want a fancy meal with a great view of the bridge, although I can't say I was blown away by the food.

Yeah, it's not working - someone said it might be due to the length. @in_stitches, you had the most posts in the last one, that means you have to start the new one!!!
