GATs are easily the most comfortable "baller" sneakers that I've owned (CP, Buttero, Raf) and more so than the Lanvins and Balenciagas I've tried on.

Lace up one foot at a time. What are you in elementary school where the kids step on your new shoes?

Just spent the past 2 hours watching old nba highlights ie dr j, darryl dawkins, dominique wilkins, shawn kemp, kevin johnson, vince carter etc.

well, two things. one, they're sneakers, they'll get fucked up, no big deal (and in fact they look better fucked up). and two, i don't really lead a life in which people are stepping all over me, so..

How do you guys go about wearing $250+ sneakers? I wear my OG GATs to college and such and people step on my shoes all the time. If I were wearing CPs or MMM GATs I would probably flip ****.

Easy, by paying less than 250.

Anyone ordered from Mortar?
Bought something online and havnt heard anything from them in a few days

I'd call them immediately. Same thing happened to me -- earlier this month, I placed an order, the payment went through, and the status was stuck on 'waiting to be fulfilled' for a few days, even though I chose a fast shipping option. I called for a few days, never even reached an answering machine. Finally reached someone who went and assembled my order while we spoke (apparently, they hadn't been put on hold when I paid).

I had to throw away a pair of gats once because I got too drunk and threw up all over them. At the end of the day they're just shoes, if you're too worried about getting them dirty then maybe buy cheaper shoes.

That fact that GATs are on the adidas samba sole is pretty weak The first painted ones were okay, but still It's like okay so you basically put a half-assed effort into designing the sneaker.

That makes sense. I know for me that it just comes down to the fact that sometimes I just want to wear really, really, really, really comfortable Adidas without Adidas branding.

If it's comfortable and you like it, just wear it. 99% of people who see you probably won't care what brand it is
