1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

@LA Guy, have you ever considered making the Alden thread its own subforum?

    Don't do it.

Why would you ever choose yoox credit over yoox credit - $6 = cash!?!?

Has anyone ever gotten anything from WTB listings? I've never found anything from those I put up, and I've never sold anything to other people's either.

I've sold to a couple of sf'ers via thier wtb adds
hate putting up fs threads of my own
some stuff I trade or give away locally
other stuff I hold on to until I read about somebody that wants it or is looking for similar
eventually I'll muster up the motivation to porst fs adds or ebay listings, but it does take me a while to get there

Hell yes -- all the goofy sneakers I wanted that are no longer made. It took a few months (in one case, almost a year), but WTB ads can be great because you'll hear from people on the fence, or who just need $$$ for purchases, who wouldn't have otherwise listed that item.

I also like them for more humdrum things like various shirt brands I would feel stupid paying retail for....
