1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I wish the StyleForum Robot were smart enough to tell me things like, "There are 86 unread posts in the WAYWT thread, but you will only care about 17 of them. The other 69 are about Hirsch."

Taylor Supply did a nice one but I think they went out of business

Probably already did this, but generally just search some combo of shawl round collar work chore engineer jacket duck

Thanks @shoreman1782. I was up late, and didn't even do a cursory search. I actually really like the combo of the shawl collar and rich color corduroy.

Was on Market in SF, I in my OG HL parka walked past a dude he was wearing long shorts and older Rick geo's and it was raining. Was an interesting experience when you see certain things you just know but in person.

Can anyone recommend me some nice mid-weight cotton socks, ideally either UK or JP made? I like Scott Nichol for wool, Chup is great for cotton, but lighter than I'd like. I'm considering some Beams+ socks, but am unsure about sizing. A lot of JP socks seem to run a bit small.

They DO get cold if there is an unexpected cold season after they get sheared. Fun fact is that they really hate other fibers besides alpaca, even alpaca fibers from a different type of alpaca. So some people knit them jackets out of their own fiber so its like they have their hair back. Pretty much the cutest thing ever :embar:

My mother gave a woman the fur from our bearded collie so she could knit sweaters out of it (water resistant), would be dope with a dog wearing a coat out of its own fur.

    I'm thinking blue cable knit.
