1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The problem is more scuffing than water damage. They get these black spots that contrast heavily with the bluish-green of everything else; I'm probably just too anal about it

The setting: Zissou's new RRL Crawford English Tweed Coat arrives via Fedex today. The driver left a slip on the door since zissou was not home. Then, he magically drives by the house again later, only to see zissou's car parked in the driveway (no minor feat, since zissou lives in the middle of nowhere and was wondering how he was going to get to the Fedex pickup site during the 15 min window between when the trucks arrive and the site closes) and stops by to deliver the box for the second time in one day. Feeling rather pleased, zissou opens the box and is quite happy from the sight of the handsome tweed overcoat...

...zissou's daughter sees him adorning his new coat, which fits over his chunky Inverallan knit rather well.

Zissou's daughter: That's cute!! Is it a Sherlock Holmes outfit??

    Zissou: :plain:

i know i'm not the first to say it and i won't be the last, but living in southern california where it's warm year round is such a pain in the ass. it's already mid 80's so it makes it difficult to wear pieces. idk i know i probably shouldn't be complaining about nice weather year round (except for the summer. fuck that) but it gets annoying sometimes

Yeah, sounds awful, sun and bikini girls year round must be a drag.

On a related note, projected snowfall of 40cm this weekend.

I think they restock it occasionally. I remember seeing them up again a couple weeks back.

of course it's not usually this hot out in january, but it's not like we ever get a real winter anyway. how many times did it rain last winter? less than a dozen?

:( I browsed some links to check prices and wanted to reply via cell but the wifi took a shit or something when posting. I still have a couple of those Bolivar PC's left and that flavor profile was a nice easy smoke. I wouldn't mind something a bit more robust, but for general purposes the PC is a perfect cigar in terms of duration. I also don't have a huge humidor and don't anticipate stockpiling.
