There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Visiting my parents, dad stole my Starks and EG blazers and wears them to work & mom took Salmon people cape and herringbone mittens, also from EG.

Conversation went something along the line of

D: Hey this sweater is very nice. Lemme buy it off ya. How much was it?
M: Uh, that was about... $100
D: Oh wow. Ok. I'll just wear it while you are here then. What about this blazer? The sleeves are spot on!
M: Ummm... that was about $120 but you can have them both. Merry belated Christmas

Could not ask them back because they rock them better than I ever could. After seeing EG worn by mature-aged people, I will never be able to wear them without feeling like a brat dressed in his dad's clothes. Damn Asian dads having same physique as their sons 30 years younger than them :violin:

Man, I really like brands like MMM, CP, and w+h. On days like today, however, I like labels like Filson, Pendleton, and LL Bean a whole lot more.

    is it a snow day?

I think I understand though. sometimes I don't wanna be fashion-y. and just wear levis, vans, tee, nondescript jacket.

    Think that's bad?

After 4 chat sessions and 2 phone calls, UPS cannot do something as simple as adding an apartment number to my package, for delivery to a building which does not even use apartment numbers.

    My communications go:
"Hey you didn't add the apartment number yet!"
"I'll be happy to help you! The apartment number is now added!"
"You sure? It didn't add the last 5 times."
"I apologize about your inconvenience. It's updated now!"

Of course the ups tracking status doesn't change.
Of course the package will be sent back to the sender soon.
All because of 2 goddamn irrelevant characters not on a piece of paper.

They don't feel great and they all fit very narrow. I don't recommend, but I'm new to glasses and don't know what you can find in that price range.

On the plus side, CS is great and the home try-on is super easy, so it doesn't hurt to see if the frames work for ya.

Got back from vacay on Saturday and it was 50 degrees and the sun was out. Everyday since has been snow, wind, and cold.

Just got Warby's about two months ago and couldn't be happier. Last set of plastic frames I had would constantly slide off my face, even after a couple of adjustments. The Warby's, however, have fit pretty snug, but without being too tight since day one. Price and customer service are top notch as well.

Yeah if you can go to showroom it's better. Quality is ok, not bad at price point. Service is good but I had issues with order process every single part to point where everything I did had to be redone since they messed everything up (I've posted before but literally from initial order which took 3 tries, then wrong prescription, then new glasses ok for a few months, big scratch randomly so send back for replacement lenses, after 3 requests for CS girl to put correct shipping address which was partially copied / pasted wrong, glasses sent to wrong address, they say go pick up if you can I say hell no not driving across LA so they ask for old building manager, get glasses after a few days delayed, which I get different frame back and one arm super bent. Call again they tell me to go fix and they pay but at this point I'm not spending any more time fixing their problems so they send new one. New pair had loose lens but at least usable.)

Wasted maybe 5 hours getting everything right so at time invested price becomes way too high. All mistakes could have easily been prevented with just a little care from warby Parker. Service fixing was fine.

Tl;dr yes fine for short term

Is anyone here looking for a random trip in 2014? Anyone here interested in either photography or videography and perhaps just North African textile? Ever thought about wandering in a marketplace in North Africa and enveloping yourself in vivid colors and smells of foods you've never tasted? Ever contemplated taking that eat, pray, love alternative to your mid-life and fashion/closet crisis (10)?

So enough shinanigans - basically my friend and I are going to Marrakech, Morocco from March 1st to March 9th and I was wondering if anyone on SF might be interested in joining. We're primarily there to shoot photos and videos with some of the most professional equipment out there and figured the more the merrier. If anyone is interested, please PM me and we can get talking - especially if you're interested in photography(looking at you Shah!! And others). The ballpark total for the trip will probably be around 1.5k (and we can live like kings depending on where we book) if early and obviously be as much as you want it to be. Obviously we do not need to know each other well (new friends yay!) but I promise your yohji jacket and raf boots are safe will be safe.

Again, if you would be any bit serious about going, please let me know and send me a pm. Also if you're in the area or have any recommendations as to where to stay or go - let me know as well :).

Not sure if posting here is the best idea but just seeing what would happen.
