I actually just remembered a tee that I would have paid >$100 for (if I were a baller), it was a Julius tee, 100% cotton but coated and felt like leather/nubuck pretty cool.

And I pay a lot for jeans because I wear them for 1-2 years near daily, I put them through their paces and it completely justifies the cost. Even a high-end tee would probably fall to pieces after that.

I've found this to be the case with Dior as well. It seems like everyone on susfu recommends sizing down 2 on Dior. I stick to true to size. Even sizing down one starts to get a bit too slim.

So... I have a random thought.

Why the hell do you people love OCBD shirts so damn much? I don't own a single one and I don't think I've ever found one interesting.

Like your girlfriend's momma would say, "It's all about the roll."

Roll is overrated. I guess it's an American thing. They are good, but so are regular collars. I have stacks of button downs so getting a few hidden placket fin collar shirts made at my tailor, in a heavy solid broadcloth. French Blue / Navy Blue / Cream.

I just realized I can no longer buy the **** I want for my wardrobe for sale (well, deep sale) anymore. And to make matters worse, none of it is cheap.

Yes, StyleForum, I blame you.

I don't really have a problem with buttondown collars (I actually prefer them), I think I just hate oxford cloth.

Hell, do designers even make OCBDs?

Hell yeah, best thing I've ever had from the fashion internets (sort of). You get the t-shirt from Jimmy yet?
