There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yeah. I don't see the point in limiting yourself. It's a lot of fun to pull stuff out and say "Oh, I haven't worn these in forever". Yesterday, I pulled out my Margiela "Paper" sneakers.

It's nice to be able to pack your life in a single bag, and I can, and regularly do for travel. But it's sort of sad to have to pack yourself into a bag.

Unless you're an 11 which sells out the most.

You have over 35 pairs of shoes?

Probably not 1035. Definitely more than 135. I think that I have about 60-70 pairs around the house, with a few dozen pairs in the "prepped and ready to wear" racks. I have a bunch of shoes and boots in storage.

Think about it. It doesn't take that long to build up a sizable collection. I probably buy... maybe a pair of shoes of boots once every month? So, let's just say it's 12 pairs, on average, a year. I've been doing this for well over a decade now. Add ontop of that various samples, gifts, etc... and you are easily close to 200 pairs, without even really trying, or really going nuts.

I know one guy who lost a bunch of weight, and he sold over 60 shirts, none of which had been taken out of their packaging... So, you can imagine the size of his wardrobe. You buy something nice here, and get a good deal there, and pretty soon, you are like Gatsby.

Why? I've been fortunate enough to be able to do what I love. I mean, I do other stuff as well, with varying degrees of competency, but to be able to do what you love is pretty awesome.

You make it sound like we're buying shoes for $30 a pop, not that 200 pairs of $30 shoes would be less of a hoarder.

value and hoarding have nothing to do with each other, man. either way, yeah, fok has a lot of clothes, so what. he leads a normal life with a family and job, he loves menswear, and is able to have lots of it and enjoy it (that would be the not hoarding part). sounds pretty nice to me.

Actually, I asked for one of this season's Dries van Noten belts for Christmas. [IMG]

Also, a Dries van Noten brown and grey blue paisley embossed cardholder. This season's collection, from clothes down to leather goods, were just so good.

When I first heard of the theme, I was skeptical. I mean "Walk of shame, wearing women's clothes mixed with the clothes from the night before"? Then I saw the runway show. And then I saw the collection. imo, best Dries collection for a while, since FW04. maybe?
