1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Those type of articles are always fascinating whether it be from a creative or business viewpoint. Learning about how big conglomerates and corporations started at the bottom, and now here is always interesting. I was just reading the article on the Economist about Twitter and Amazon.

And if you're major complaint is that the real thing is too expensive for any "average" person to be able to buy, then you need to wake up and realize that's kind of the point. Fashion is not a democracy. Brands like Rick Owens and Thom Browne are covetable not only because of quality, but because their alienating pricepoints allow them to retain exclusivity.

Can someone sum up what is creepy about the Alden thread? I have a pair of Aldens, they're awesome, I dunno what would make someone so weird about ~shoes~

Lawd. I've yet to see something about that on my newsfeed. I'm sure it's bound to pop up in the next 72 hrs.

ETA: TBH I thought they were made from some sort of cheaper synthetic alternative, but I've never owned a pair.

This is kind of true though?

There's a reason some brands destroy their products rather then offering them at high clearance.

That feeling when you know you are in some serious need of closet (i.e. clothes) consolidation, but you can't seem to easily let go of anything. What have you done to me SF?? Listed so much stuff, and still have so much more to go. Listings take up so much time and effort, which is cool, but would be cooler if B&S moved the way it did a few years back and didn't have all the "Hey, I'll offer you $150, for those Geller x Common Project Hi Collabs" PMs (true story BTW). Ah well...

^+1 to the above...which is now on the previous page - oh well.

First time poster on this thread, so sorry if this has been covered before (I'm sure it has actually). What do you guys do when you get a little bored of your overall style of dressing? I mean I can't start buying crazy shit from Raf Simons but doesn't it all get a little mundane? Was thinking about jazzing things up by wearing sneakers? Saw those cuffed bottom pants on the internets too somwhere - might be kinda cool? Anyways, just word vomiting, thanks in advance for the input.
