1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I had a friend a long time ago. I say had because we used to be friends, but not anymore. Seldom did a Saturday go by when we didn't hang out, shoot pool or have a brew together. We always had something to chat about, something to bounce back off one another. Buy the parka.

Bigskipp- thanks for the tip, but both the seller and the coat are on the level (I checked exhaustively).

SWD Teger fit challenge: post a shitty fit and then write an angry rant about how not shitty it is.

my rant wasn't about how the fit looked good or bad, it was about how dismissing nikes as a category of shoes is stupid (which mikey did, because they were 'comfortable'). the reason (in my eyes) inverallen and sweatpants works together is because inverallen is a big spongey comfy knit that is actually pretty shapeless. it's kind of like a big oversized wool blanket. it's really easy to wear it with faded jeans and an oxford, where's the fun in that?

it was your 'im quitting sf' thread and then you went on a big rant about mafoofan's wife. it was not your finest moment. i understand the temptation to make fun of mafoofan though, but we must all be strong.

Oh yeah. Mr. Moo is missed.

(I still don't remember any particularly long rants about his wife...)

I actually did read that. Racism in soccer is pretty blatant. Throwing bananas on the field to mock black players in England? Noice.

I'm not getting into a drawn-out debate with you because you seem to think you're absolutely correct, but your original response was surprisingly immature. And the way you've represented mikey's comment is both uncharitable and inaccurate.

Yeah that's the problem. This a clear violation of mikey's rights as a member of StyleForum. It's an infringement on his constitutional rights. It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous.

But then Mikey thumbed one of teg's posts shortly afterward. Which means everything is OK and there's no more conflict and bad feelings and famine. Right?

    It's definitely preposterous.
