1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Yeah, I took a couple pairs of pants there for hems but didn't like the vibe so never went back again. Saw him outfitting a few other people and that was it.
Now I use Studio Kim. King and Niagara area, so Queen West. I prefer to deal with Kim (Miss Kim?) directly. She actually has tailoring experience and knows what you're talking about. Not cheap, not too expensive either, pretty much always nails the fit. Plenty of SF guys coming in and out and piles of clothes from SF approved brands on the racks.

Damn, this site is a drug. Makes me procrastinate, and spend more money on superfluous stuff. Not very productive. Despite what people say, you're never done amassing clothes. Can I get a temporary ban?

I just do random searches when I got time to burn and I find a lot of this stuff but I usually just bookmark it all on my phone.

Am I the only one who really, really dislikes mixing blue with black? I never do it, and usually dislike when I see it. Does not help that I am slightly colorblind.

Are you referring in general or blue with black shoes? I dislike any blue with black shoes. In general, I prefer charcoal/marled grey with blues.

greyish or metallic blue works perfectly with black. probably better than it does with other colors

Blue denim with black shoes is a particular peeve, but I also dislike it in general.

    more 'wear MA1s regularly' really

too casual for work/formal settings, and would get infrequent use in casual settings. could work as a cardi stand-in over a tee though

So, I just left a critical but honest review for the tailor that messed up my jacket. The tipping point was when I realized the pants I bought was also sold for 2x the price compared to retailers like Sears / Overstock.com.

    BOOM!

Getting alterations done at a dry cleaners sounds like a sure way to be let down.
