1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That one seems to be without the knit lining though.

Might not be cable-knit, but it sounds like it's lined.

    Yoox: "Composition: 100% Cotton, Wool"
(NMWA: "technical weatherproof cotton shell; virgin wool lining")

If they'd lit the photo better, the lining would be visible in the front pic.

Different material composition also. The one at NMWA is made from a "felted polyester shell". Still looks like a cool fishtail parka regardless.

oh man... you guys need to jump on those parkas if they're the same one... price is unreal.

Nil - we have two (very) different Esemplare parkas : the Limonta cotton (Italy's closest equivalent of the British Ventile) with wool cable-knit lining in charcoal grey; and the felted polyester one (same that Fok got in grey) in a very dark/brownish green.

    It's not that same parka.

Esemplare has two parka models that they bring out each year. One has two hand warmer pockets, and two hip pockets. The other, which I like more, is this one, which has just the two hip pockets (which are actually foldover pockets, so things don't fall out. You can't tell that in either the NMWA nor the Yoox pictures.)

They usually have at felted polyester version, and a merino knit lined version, and they switch up the combination of model and fabrication.

They are all good though. They fit slim, but it's typical "Euro" slim - the medium measures out to a pretty solid "designer" 48 (EU), not a Balenciaga or Hedi Slimane era Dior Homme 48, but at the same time, not a conservative 38 either.

If you read my post, it's not really the case. The jacket on Yoox is the Limonata version, but in a different model from what Greg has. There are so many permutations of those two parkas. You have to choose the combination that appeals to you most.

Just love it when work wear style clothes have care instruction of delicate clothes...
Here is a Chambray shirt you can wear to make you feel like you are a rugged railroad worker. Please hand wash cold in mild detergent and line dry

I'd have bought the L from Yoox already if not for their damn duties.

Even superstar status is worthless internationally.

Was about to buy something from Matches when I saw the "no duties refund" disclaimer. Not worth it for 15% off.

Has anyone here had an opportunity to look through that Ideas From Massimo Osti book? Is it worth picking up?

Been meaning to order that one. I only had a quick browse through the book so I can't speak to the written content but I'd say the photos alone make it worth it.
