1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Also lol at the who for these incredibly vapid generalizations that are so broad as to be useless to anybody reading it. I love how you present these ideas as mind blowing. It's like ted bigsby freshman year incarnate.

It's funny, this decently well put together high school/early college age looking girl with a Celine bag walked in right before me and they go "your grandparents are waiting for you at your usual table."

Must be nice. I know one of the captains at jean Georges. Neurobio major at a pretty decent school. I don't think its a bad lifestyle at all but I never asked her why she switched career paths

Hmm, I have that same 5 zip and have a black travelling bag; contemplating buying the black (leather) zipped tote too if it ever makes it down to sub $1000.

Everytime Fuck Yeah Styleforum gets mentioned, I'm forced to remember how bad my fits and worse, my attitude, were back in late 2011. Public humiliation can be a good teacher:

    1. Don't expect whatever you thought was 'fun' or 'cool', 'my unique individual style' or whatever, to go down well, even (or especially) as a joke. You need the basics of sound aesthetics and style knowledge before anything more (particularly injecting humour into style). Most people don't actually have these, especially if they've never really subjected what they wear to public scrutiny before.
    2. Don't try to perform a part or adopt irritating mannerisms (like being patronising or self-deprecating). Just be yourself.
    3. Don't be defensive when you get deservedly panned by longstanding members, even if some people go too far. Accept the criticism, learn the lessons, move on.

Life on SF is much better if you avoid these things. And I am sure there are others.
