There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Re: dreams

I had a dream a few nights ago where I hung out with this african princess, this russian pornstar, this random punk dude, an asian woman with a dress made of leather bags margiela-style, and this shifty hoodrat-looking kid with long black hair who I think was a young Rick Owens. I had this weird airplane/mech thing that I befriended them with by flying them around a weird twisted version of Boulder. Then the african princess broke the engine and we were forced to crash land in this snow-covered east coast city where Young Rick Owens directed us to the house of someone who he claimed had stolen from him. When I asked why we all had to beat him up he said this mystery man wore fake Givenchy and "had a username made up of an anime character's name and a bunch of letters, so you know he's boring." Those were his actual words. Wisdom.

i believe they're painted. will be curious to see them in person actually. i like white chucks, and painted white is a decent, if not super inventive, variation on that. though I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay the premium. price GQ mentioned was like $200. i say this now but will probably skip them when they come out.

Not really, no: it's in their best interest to keep profitable customers. If you bought a shitload every season at a Margiela boutique, they'd make an exception to keep you happy; even then, it'd be the store manager's call, not corporate. They don't give a shit about "clients" who buy discounted goods from third party sellers.

I think the best you can hope for is a referral to their preferred shoe repair service.

This is going to sound weird maybe, but whatever this is RFT.

I've posted like 3 fits here total, all of them crossposted to reddit, and of the two that people seemed to like here on SF (as did I), reddit MFA shredded them. The one SF disliked, reddit seemed to love, and in retrospect, it was shit.

I think the problem is that MFA kinda sucks for most things. Shit, I hope the problem is that I don't suck. I just don't want to wear walnut AE or cordovan slip-ons, olive chinos, and a fucking collared shirt.

What if everyone hates me and my taste in everything is awful?

    You took the wrong pill.

Also, APK I'm so sorry. "Fun" wedding ideas are total shit 99% of the time.

god wtf is up with this new trend to wear sneakers w/ suits for weddings?! It looks so goddamn bad, why would anyone want to look like a doofus on their big day?

Yes sneaks and suits can be pulled off but it's tricky

Of course I had to check your gallery to see what fits you were talking about. What did MFA have to say about them? Everything you've worn so far has been pretty straightforward. There are def things you could do to improve (better lighting/camera setup to start!), but there's no need to start from square one or fall into a sartorial identity crisis.

Yeah it's pretty bad. Also dislike: "funny" dance routines, outdoor weddings in blazing heat/high wind, matching tuxedos, almost all the guest interactive "games", etc.

I'm attending an outdoor wedding tomorrow, and the weather is supposed to be 90+ there. :plain:
Coincidentally, I'm going in to be fitted for a tux as part of a friends upcoming wedding. They had already decided on one so I'm just hoping it's not too horrendous.

You're right, the setup is awful until the local Target restocks mirrors and I get some better lighting, I've got to set up the camera on one side of the room to stand on the other... but there's mostly hate on the notes of anti-fit.

    > the stacking of jeans (both ZamB and Lanvin- I'll admit the Lanvin stacks were a bit awkward, but I just ran out to get it hemmed today)
    > the lack of color
    > the fit and appearance of the Veilance jacket

It's just weird. The fits there just seem to look the same, and the ones that are different are by consistent contributors. They drove solar_garden out by way of sartorial crisis, I was so sad (he has posted here in before in basically all Dana Lee, looks super casual and has red hair and harry potter-esque glasses). I was afraid of posting my GO watch in the last fit because I didn't want it to drown out the rest of what I was wearing. IRL no one notices it, but on some places on the internet (I get it, I'm on like 3 watch forums daily and I love me some fucking watches), it's like some glorious +1 inducing lightning rod. It drowns out opinions on everything else.

side note- in stitches gets points for trying to get top-tier watches posted on WAYWT yesterday, props to you, I love seeing the awesome pieces in the CM watch thread.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that weddings aren't about you as a guest, but I can't help but cringe. Good luck x2 snake.

Also, I forsee a dip in Sev's Schneider kopping habits :stirpot:
