1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ok, which one of you assholes has a pair of RRL low straights lying around in a 33/34? I've missed out on two cheap pairs already and it's irritating me.

So I woke up one morning after a night of partying to discover that my MMM GATs had torn at the outer edge of the shoe in the middle, where the leather meets the rubber. Took them to the cobbler today and he explained that there was absolutely no way to fix them and recommended a return to the company.

Only problem is I bought these off of eBay like six months ago...What should I do? Is there any way Margiela itself will reimburse me? I feel like 6 months for easily worn $450 shoes isn't a very good value at all. The other shoe looks about ready to split as well

No need to worry, it's part of the intended design and what makes every Maison Martin Margiela truly unique, embrace the decrepitude and wear in good health !

Duct tape also offers and elegant solution consistent with the Maison ethos.

That's weird, I wore my painted MMMs for both days of FYF Fest, which included moshing at the METZ, Black Flag and Death Grips sets; and they still look great :(

Total Document Solution sounds ominous. Is that for your Complete World Domination project ? I think forgoing spreadsheets is a rookie mistake.

Not sure how new reedos were but they changed the sole. The painted sneakers have a more opaque gum sole (at least mine do)

Margiela wouldn't refund you for shoes bought at Barney's, let alone eBay.

No? They measure 35", and stretch an inch? I don't want them tight, but I hate belts.
