1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'm currently imagining picking up a Boglioi Donegal jacket and wearing it every day through FW.

I love Donegal. Trousers, jacket, sweater, anything. My favorite kind of tweed.

    Gentlemen,
Long time lurker here. I used to spend tons of $$ on clothes back in the day but now I'm married w 2 kids and a mortgage. My style is pretty basic 'hipster dad' style - slim jeans, red wings, button downs/tshirt and a denim jacket or flight.

My budget is extremely limited these days - I can maybe spend $50 a month on 'extras' like clothes. Saving isn't an option because every time I get a chunk of change scraped together the fridge goes out or we put in a new deck or retile a bathroom.

Since joining, I have been liking the drapey, somewhat-techninj look but obviously the traditional route (mmm, geller, guidi boots, toj coat) is ou of my price range. Do any of y'all have any ideas how this silhouette could be accomplished on the cheap? Thinking like up-sized aa viscose tank under a u-neck summer shirt w/black coated uniqlo jeans or maybe even cutoff sweats with running tights (?!) and some flyknits. I have a decent Adam Kimmel m-65ish thing.

Thoughts? Thanks a lot. Y'all are super helpful.

I'm looking for a warm, chunky shawl-collar cardigan for the fall—something that could work with jeans and a t in cool weather. RRL has a few that look good to me (this one in Shetland wool and another one in merino wool), but I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some alternatives?

I know that Inverallan exists, but I've had trouble finding their 6A cardigan in stock in my size; and SNS Herning's website doesn't list a shawl-collar cardigan, at least not since I've last checked. Halp?

I had a dream that someone was asking me for advice on a dries shirt and they were 10 years old :embar:

    It went something like this:

You're a little ahead of my time snowman.

    Why? How old are you?

    I was born in 2003

*scrolls thru convo and asks himself why a 10 year old cares about dries*

    End.

    Something is wrong here, right?

Honestly, if your current budget allows $50 per month for clothes, and you're trying to go deeper into the clothing game, the first step would be to re-evaluate your budget. Otherwise even an Epaulet shirt would require three months of saving. That's ridiculously restrictive
